How about more from a new leadership team. Once this doesn't pass, and we hopefully stop filling classes for future attrition/growth, the board will finally come to their senses and get rid of the top two.
It's time to stop telling other 121 FOs to give up their current gig. The water is not nice and warm over here.
And for those FO's that still only see the chance for upgrade and are willing to vote yes...realize life will be horrible with these new reserve rules once you do upgrade. Specifically speaking the lack of buffer language and the company able to assign in any order to keep flying equal.

Those Captains were rightfully awarded their seat under the current contract. I'm sorry you couldn't bid over but that doesn't give you a claim to someone else's seat. You should certainly be able to hold any position your seniority allows but the right way to do it is to wait for a vacancy and bid like everyone else.

This new ta is nothing more than a 5 year extension to our current contract with added concessions!
Recall our mec, this should never have made it past the mec!!

The work rules have arguably regressed. Nullification of CMF/CML is a deal breaker on its own. And the money they've claimed to put aside for the pilot group doesn't add up in our "gains."

I vote yes on no and yes on an entirely new MEC for allowing this to come to us!

Can some one explain why using a sick day for a fatigue call benefits us at all? Am I missing something?

Well let's burn it down then. If our voting 'no' would actually cause a problem for Mesa, I'd be happy to lose my job over it. It'd be "fun", and great to rid the regional industry of it's lowest bottom feeder. I'm wondering, though, would voting it down actually be a win for management? Unfortunately, most pilots here have families to support, and the super-senior group would be hard pressed to start over.

If you guys haven't read the delta TA threads you should. If the union unanimously approves something the majority of the pilot group is against, there is a huge disconnect and that needs to be addressed. The union is supposed to represent the pilot group's desires. Anything different is dangerous.
That said, I like all the union guys I know, and I know they work hard (harder than I) doing work that I don't want to do. So thanks for volunteering. We just need our MEC to be on the same page as the pilot group. And maybe this will pass and they actually are, and the only people (apparent majority here saying he'll no) on APC are disgruntled naysayers.

I'm a huge naysayer myself. And it is a turd to me and everyone I've talked to about it. But it is premature to call for recalls when we haven't voted. Maybe we have a silent majority that thinks it's good? I'd hope not. Just throwing it out there.
