Shifts are 4a-4p. And 12p-12a. And you have the same shift all month.

Thank you. Let me rephrase it, for those living in base, how much is it costing to do so? Are you living in crash pads or apartments? Ghettos, decent areas? Just one person, no family.

If you are referring to AltitudePads which is based in hotels, be advised, their "system" only works decently for the "AM" reserve schedule. You have to tell them by 6pm if you need the bed for the night. You can't possibly know with the "pm" reserve schedule.

How's PHX reserve? How long can I expect to be on reserve? How much flight time per month? Can I fly over the guarantee this summer?

The company seems to unofficially balance the reserve pilots hours, so I would say no

I've heard people say that but have never experienced it. I went over 35 days without flying bidding CML at one point.

Did you stay in one of those $150 crash pads at a hotel?
What's your reason for coming here right now? Fast upgrade ship has sailed--lots of CRJ/senior EJet folks will be hitting their 1,000 hours and filling all of the classes for all anticipated vacancies going forward, even with our current increased rate of attrition.

Endeavor pays 50k+/year and has a pref hiring agreement with Delta. CommutAir will get you a yes/no from UAL asap--before you have to devote years of your life to them chasing that carrot. Envoy/PSA/PDT all have flows with AA that seem to be working (at least initially).

What's your damage? Why are you on this thread asking these questions?

Catch up to the new reality--the wholly-owned carriers stay in vastly better hotels and have much better built-in career progression to the legacies. Get in on that ground floor and don't look back while you skyrocket up above us "off-the-street"/"please please hire me" guys.

Mesa is great as a short-term gig if you have something else really good lined up and need currency. But if you have illusions/ideations of going to a legacy in your lifetime you really need to look elsewhere.

Not knocking on Mesa--just stating facts and being honest.

You have been stating the same upgrade train has sailed for months. Then we get 18 more ejets. You can easily grab a crj Capt spot less then a year. Just wait till the next standing bid results come back and see if the quick upgrade is gone.

No you cannot. I have been with Mesa for a year. Been on reserve for 8 months. Worse 8 months of my career. (They really abuse you). I am looking for at least another year to year and a half to upgrade, and I have the 1000 hours. The recruiter just LIED. Go for the pay and QOL. That's not Mesa.

Then it's because you don't have your 1000 of 121 time. Pilots from last September already awarded upgrade to IAD. Of course, then you would be on reserve for an even longer time!
I am curious if the latest bid goes junior....4 new captain spots for IAD.
