How are people who work for Mesa arrogant? We know we have the worst pay and benefits in the industry and we voted our last contract down because it wasn't even close to industry average.

Arrogants????

People keep telling me on this forum that I am stupid for working at Mesa. Yet I made more money, held a line quicker, upgraded faster, holding a line again, and collecting TPIC, while they are still stuck at 40$ hr slinging gear, often still on reserve...
Yes, I am a flipping idiot for coming to Mesa... But hey, they have a better contract...
As far as Mesa leaving DFW, and Envoy taking over... Doug Parker brought in Compass to DFW... Envoy will never again be the sole "AA regional."
Mesa payed for our new crew room, not AA. Not something a company would do if they knew they were leaving.

I love this drive-by Mesa shaming you've got going on here. Anything else to add or are you already gone?

I'm not saying it can't ever or won't ever happen, but shutting down Mesa's DFW base seems highly unlikely in the near future.

It's not like Envoy can staff all that flying over the long term either.

You're new to the airline world, aren't you? I hope you're not a gamblin' man.

Just saw the email. Per usual, nothing substantive about DFW. It was about increased scrutiny of Mesa inflight service in DFW. They blew it way out of proportion lol.

But still, I keep hearing we are getting factory CRJ's to replace our oldest birds (so, not growth), which are coming up on an expensive engine inspection. I even had a fed guy and an Association guy echo the same, not that either of those are conclusive, I know.

A lot of regionals have low upgrades right now if you weren't aware. Compass 1st yr CA pay rate equals Mesa 4th yr with better work rules. 1st year FO and Compass makes 5th yr FO Mesa pay. Oh and our upgrade is less than a year.
