Okay, well, while we got you, one more question I've always wondered. I understand they might run the monthly PBS awards several times using several parameters, but how long does each batch take to process? Do they really need til the 23rd sometimes, or could it all be realistically accomplished in 24-48 hours?

Seriously, why in gods name are people still coming here??!??! When other airlines with comparable equipment/upgrade times are offering $35-40/hour first year plus a hiring bonus. Insane.

Can we just accept the fact the classes at Mesa are full and leave it alone? One day it will change, but at the rate the majors / LCCs are hiring I don't think we will have to endure the agony for long. At least we have growth. Yea garbage contract, but would I have got ALL holidays off last year if I was at a place with a "top tier" contract? (I've been 18 months on property). Not a chance!!! Happy wife = happy life... For me anyway.

Do they let non-US-citizen FAs/pilots like her utilize KCM to access "secure" airports/airliners? If so I'm terrified of the consequences of that gross oversight of security.

For pilots, KCM makes sense--the most dangerous weapons we have are our hands and feet, so who really cares what's in our bags/pockets...but FAs? Like the one in the article? Should we really be letting them through KCM with ZERO bag check/metal detector?

We really, really have a gaping hole in our security infrastructure by allowing FAs to go through KCM--to the extent I wonder why we even bother with screening anyone at all
