Speak for your self. If you want mainline wages, you need to work at a mainline.

I'm unsure how me calling out someone for touting Mesa training as "the best in the industry", when he has only been through 2 121 training departments can be considered opinion. I never said Mesa did not have a quality training department, I simply chuckled at the new guys drunkenness.

So are you saying all the regionals should base their cost structure on Mesa's industry-leading cost structure? Because that's what it sounds like you're saying.

When you work in an environment predicated on being the lowest bidder, it's a race to the bottom. Doesn't matter if Mesa exists or not, there will always be a lowest bidder. To wish this away is no different than wishing away gravity. The only sane solution is to leave that environment.

So does that mean we should stop trying to make it better while we are here?

Ranting on the Internet isn't "trying to make it better". Trolling on here is fun, but don't try to pawn it off as "making things better".

So when you guys ***** about your contract, it's ok. When I ***** about your contract, it's ranting and trolling. Gotcha.

Correct. You don't work here. How many Mesa guys do you see talking trash on the SKW thread?

Edit: Our contract is garbage, but at least we (the MAG pilots) are actually working to make it better, not solely ranting on the Internet. We voted down our last TA in a landslide, in case you've forgotten. If you want to talk trash on fellow pilots, go over to the GoJet thread. At least we did our part and voted no at Mesa.

Well yes... exactly. You don't work here and obviously suffer from some kind of delusions of grander where you think you and your ****ty regional airline are superior to our ****ty regional airline. You get something out of coming on this forum to be critical of some random people whom you don't know because I would imagine you have some self esteem issues. It obviously empowers you in some way, sadly. Probably need to re-evaluate your priorities.

Anyway, back on topic here. Noticed they gave 8 people the upgrade on the standing bid to the 175. Looks like attrition must be picking up. They ran 10 earlier in the month, then a surprise 6. So far we have awarded 18 this month for upgrade to the 175, that is if my calculations are correct.

let's start with you really should be emailing magpbs or reading the training site, not asking in here. But beyond that if your going to be reserve you will not get more then 11 days off. So your attempt for a whole week off is not mathematically possible.
