Took me 3 years to get the offer after doing CTI program, and then they cut the training pay from 43K to $8.15 an hour and I couldn't afford to do it.

Miami Center would have been sweet

Go train at okc. See if you like it. If you don't like ATC the regionals will still be around.

A job is a job, no matter what you do, you'll get sick of it. I did the CTI thing too. Yes, a government pension would of been nice...

If you have an offer from the FAA it should be a no brainer. I spent 25 years as a center controller and now fly for a regional. Our son is a controller and after 3 years makes $140K/yr. I have a six figure pension for the rest of my life and I'm still young enough to enjoy things. I retired at 49. If you think you can spend a couple years at a regional and be a prime candidate for a major airline then I can only say you and 15,000 other pilots have that idea.

Wow! I should've listened to those old guys hanging out in the FBO when I was still a teenager in flight school.

Yep financed by Mesa. Mesa management also very publicly states their desire for continued growth. They talk openly and buying more aircraft. I believe they will.

Prospective new hires, this is not a good place to work, go somewhere else.

The recruiters are trying to offer you candy so you'll jump in their molester van. That sweet upgrade candy won't be lasting much longer and if you come here you'll just be taking it in the rear with no candy. Don't come here!
