That is not uncommon at all. My wife was a manager for AA in maintainence and when a supervisor, manager or mechanic would give their two week notice their badge was taken immediately, all their company access was immediately taken away and they were escorted out. When I handed in my notice at Eagle they took my badge, parking pass and all company manuals and my email, and SABRE access was deactivated within 10 minutes.

What happened to you is not exclusive to Mesa.

I wonder if this is for security reasons?

So how am I supposed to go to work, check my email, check FLICA, drop/add flying, etc. for my final two weeks of employment at Mesa? Are they just going to say "Forget the notice, you're fired"?

Who knows. Like I said I did drop my last two weeks of flying, and burned a sick call right before giving notice. I may be a different case.

They let me fly several more trips during my last two weeks, not cutting anything off at all. In fact, I was off the very last day of that two week's notice, and I used it to D1 to training for my next job.

Hopefully this means all of/some of the 18 - 25 ? new EJETs wont end up at IAH.

An SFO base would be awesome but DEN seems more likely.
