I don't know if you have FLICA but how does that compare to United? Can you drop anything you want any time or is it almost as restrictive?

We don't use FLICA, but we can drop if staffing is good. Problem is they took away our ability to see the numbers and we have been fighting them ever since to get it back. Supposedly we are getting that function back soon. Based on what I've seen it's just as restrictive. We do have more tools for schedule modification and a computer based seniority trip trade system that takes the human element on the company's part out of the equation unless it's the day prior.

Unwise.

With flying 12 hours a month you have enough time on your hands to learn a new skill, or develop an existing one and generate another, if not multiple, streams of income.

Here's some ideas:
Real Estate
Home Inspections ( Very good money)
Real Estate Appraisal (also very good money)
Online Store
Web Design
Web Development
Flight Instruction (Yes, its legal under 117. Just let the chief pilot know)
Ground School Tutoring
Sim Instructor
Selling E-Books on learning to fly
Virtual Assistant
Transcriptionist
Selling Aircraft
Aircraft Appraisal
Aircraft Insurance Brokerage
The list goes on, and on. Hell, you could wait tables if worse come to worse.

Go do that, and you'll be THRILLED to sit on reserve and not be used. If you CHOOSE to be poor, well I can't help you there.

Add automotive repair

Just talked to a bagger at Costco and he makes $22/h. So do that part time.

I know an IAD FO who bids RSV drives for UBER while on call 4-5 hrs a day 4-5 days a week and pulls in an extra $500-600 a week.

Not true for E175 CA--I dropped and swapped a bunch this month, and could've dropped most of my schedule this month and last month. I maintained my 85 credit hours while improving my trips and gaining 3 more days off. Just have to be fast and smart and understand VV's rules

He must be driving in rural Kansas. Also I have no idea what Uber pero is/means.

Oh he's driving UberMexico, got it.
