Taking the job offer at Mesa. I Think not having 50 seaters is a good thing for stability and a few better reserve rules would help Qol. Long call v short call v life a bit easier. Are there many still waiting on there 1000 to upgrade or is everyone just waiting on the need for captains or is training backed up still? Is the plan 2 planes a month through next year? If so what's the crew ratio to keep this going?

Start in a few days any idea of the hotel for training, do we bring stuff for 2 months and plan on staying on weekends?
What's the hotel? I won't have a car, where is the class room indoctrination done? Do we get per diem in training? Anybody else starting this month?

Is the first test the same week we start on 121 stuff? How big are classes and are we matched up with an upgrading captain or new hire new hire?

Sorry for lots of questions, I haven't heard much from the recruiters on what to expect and trust the line guys more on this feel free to pm me anything that might help me get through the next 3 months.

No

Similar question, if I'm on reserve and volunteer to fly on days off does it count on top of RSV guarantee or does it just count towards the RSV guarantee? I've heard different answers on this.

Few 50 plus seat carriers out there with higher first year pay. What made you choose mesa, if you don't mind me asking?

Based on the fact we have 6 month CRJ captains, there are lots waiting for their 1,000 hours. Our hiring prior 121 guys has slowed in recent months so the number of people without the time will be skewed towards the junior side.

or is everyone just waiting on the need for captains or is training backed up still?
Training is not backed up to my knowledge.

Is the plan 2 planes a month through next year?
No, the delivery schedule has not been shared publicly, but we are getting 3 this month and then 15 more through 2016. Exactly how many per month I'm not sure.

If so what's the crew ratio to keep this going?
They plan 5 pilots per seat per airplane. They announced they would upgrade 90 Captains and hire 180 FOs to fill the vacancies for the next 18 aircraft. Bear in mind they have already started upgrading the 90 Captains.

They use a couple different hotels in Tempe, AZ. I would plan on being gone for the whole time. If you get a long enough break to go home in the middle then that is a bonus.

In doc is done at the training center which is on the south side of PHX airport.

No per diem during new hire training.

Yes, your basic indoc test will be at the end of indoc. If it is a joint CRJ/EJET class, then indoc will be around 25-30 students. If it is just EJET then around 10-12 students.

As for who you will be paired with, that all depends. Some in your class will be paired with an upgrading Captain, others will be new hire and new hire.

If he had a build up line for the month, he should be paid his line guarentee.
