Might I raise you ABQ and ELP. I will say this, PHX overnights in general involve better quality hotels than the other domiciles in my experience. I presume this is because of the high percentage of lifers in PHX.

I had one FA complain about the free food at Midland... Good thing we weren't at Midland at the time, slap an aisle donkey.

We don't stay at one-star motels. I've never stayed in a motel at Mesa. If you're that concerned about the happiness of our collective group, then why are you posting complain-ey, depressing garbage in the Mesa thread? We work for a ultra lean operating airline. Considering that, I'd say the hotels are acceptable. I'd tell you to quit and go work elsewhere, but our seniority system makes that a difficult decision. Is seniority best for the "collective group"? What about the fact that third year FOs make more than second year FOs? Doesn't seem that great for the group either. Even the TA vote, which, considering the present value of a raise now, year over year, compared to what we might expect in, say, five years, was an irrational choice from a monetary standpoint. The whole group, union, brotherhood, idea among airline pilots is a lie. I try to post reasonable info about Mesa on this thread to counter the young, new (seems like) pilots who come here to puke on their keyboards and press submit.

Yes, all the hotels could be better, but what's awful about either of those? They're just budget hotels. ABQ is fine and has Dion's right next door, plus a couple other restaurants, and ELP is two seconds from the airport and is also a clean economy hotel (with crappy internet). You can leave ELP five minutes before show time and be on time.

Ah, the famous "management loves you" post. This is where it devolves into hamster wheel. We both work here, so management loves both of us. Come back and post that when you quit.

I just had an FA complain about the FSD hotel, saying the rooms are too small. If I remember correctly, it's a Sheraton that's fairly nice, there's cheap food in walking distance, and the van will take you downtown or to the falls, both of which are great to do.

The comfort hotels discount rocks. I used it in Europe and saved 250 bucks a night.
