EJet FAs are saying they're being trained to work in Dulles. Might just be because the 175 spends so much time there though.

Lol what would that training consist of? "Dulles is very large, and very expensive, and one must walk very far and use strange train-bus hybrids called people-movers."

If an FA is trained on the EJet, I don't understand what more they'd need to learn to work in and out of IAD.

What type of training does an FA need to work out of Dulles?

Not that I'm an expert I'm the goings on with fa training, but I do know they've been pushing to dual-qualify (crj/e175) as many fa's as possible. Unlike pilots, the fa's can be shuffled between aircraft types. If IAD becomes a dual type base, or as long as there is a lot of dual-type operations out of there, it stands to reason that at least all of the iAd/Iah fa's be dual qualified for staffing purposes.

No idea. Different catering process/supplies maybe? Or different emergency plans and services. I think they have to know that stuff.

Exactly, here we go again. What's the upgrade time. I wasn't asking your opinion on anything else.

Probably like a 1.5 year upgrade for new hires and 6 months for prior 121.

Boom! Haha good answer man. Just depends on if you have prior 121 time or not. The most jr captain I could find on the seniority list was a DFW CRJ captain. Date of hire, 3/5/2015.
