Which one has more daily flights, early morning flights, and late night flights? Which one has more flights during seasonal slow downs? I am probably going to say it is DFW over IAH...

You cannot get east after 7pm outta IAH. It's complete crap for commuting. The only reason to take 175 CA over 900 CA is if you really want the type.

Bottom line, commuting gives you gray hairs and a receding hairline.

Yeah, just planning. I've heard similar things to what the last few posters just said (thanks for the input), but also heard DFW is tough because there are so many AA non revs. Probably smart to wait and see how the new American flight benefits finally shake out, then check daily loads between each city pair. Although, do you guys on the Ejet still have American benefits?

I do not usually post on forums, but read them as entertainment. I have to chime in on this one. First of all ALPA and the Teamsters is to blame for all of this non-sense. If ALPA and the Teamsters represented the Regional Pilot as they should, we would all be making a lot more money. The BS of the teamsters filing a law suit over hiring bonuses is just is outright stupid. Those idiots are making a good wage while new hires are on food stamps. Second: I worked at Mesa for six years and can say that they are the worst company I have ever worked for. I quit after six years as a somewhat Senior Captain. I could not go to work with a conscious working for such a company. I vividly remember having a conversation with our MEC Rep. about the contract in 2003. I told him that ALPA will cave in and not get our pilot group a raise. All I wanted was a better scheduling considering that I was in the top 20% of the pilot group. He stated that he did not think that was going to happen. Why? I was willing to work hard at work but wanted more than 11 days off as a line holder. They are bunch of self serving weasels. Everyone in this Industry needs to grow a set!! You could make more money selling cars.
