I heard Braniff is coming back and bringing the Concorde's online again; this time both sides will be painted. They'll need someone to feed into the lucrative Cedar Rapids-Des Moines supersonic route, so they're going to buy a handful of those old 747SP's, take out 90% of the seats, and have Mesa fly them. But that was from a jumpseater's flight attendant's ramper friend, so take it with a grain of salt.
But in all seriousness, I doubt mainline would do a 180 on that so quickly. Those 175's should be here at least a little while.

When are these idiotic rumors going to end? Mesa has been exceeding all expectations with the 175. Their performance numbers are better than both Skywest and Shuttle America for the ejets. The company is about 2 weeks ahead for the entry into service schedule for each aircraft. These rumors are total idiocy coming from people who can't stand to see Mesa expanding again, unfortunately many of those people are my former colleagues at regionals that don't face quite such a bright future.
