Avg 91 hours credited per month plus per diem would come out to about $30,000 on Mesa's first year pay. I can think of other entry-level jobs that pay less.

Hopefully your selection as pilot at TSA works for you.
Mainline relationship with any regional is pure business, nothing more. If a company gets too expensive they look for other regionals that can do it for less.

I came to TSA because I live in Dulles and our contract is amazing. It sucks that the MRJ are delayed, but at the end of the day I just do my job. Maybe our company will look at other aircrafts instead, who knows.

30 sec update of your current "position" will save you time typing "you need to get your facts straight...", also reduces the negativity of your comments which will expand your audience.

You're saying I'm a management person posing as a pilot on the Mesa thread? I think they prob have better things to do.

Instant Win ... i really feel this is some honest, heartfelt constructive criticism? For years you guys have been trying to reach the diaspora of 2nd lifers and by god i think you are on the right track. We really need to reach that next level. GREAT STUFF... Great Focus.

My regional is better than your regional

Sound like babies.

Coincidentally that was the last thing a Comair CA told me right after he denied me the jump-seat because I worked for Mesa.

I'm sure he was right too, but it didn't matter did it?

Get a clue all of you... $H!T stinks, doesn't matter who it belongs to.

Mesa's contract sucks because of what they had to give away to get rid of Freedom A. How is that single list at TSA and Gojet coming along?

Not so fast. The contract undermined by the Freedom A pilots was over 10 years ago! Over 50% of the pilots who had votes in that contract have left Mesa. Mesa's current pilot group is responsible for the current contract there, not the Freedom A guys (though many of them are still at Mesa too), just like few of the current TSA pilots were responsible for supporting a strategy that ended up growing GoJets at the expense of the TSA pilots.

Just calling a spade a spade here.
