Last week I heard it was likely going to be announced this week, but they're running out of time on that one :-) In the last conference call I remember JO saying he hoped to hear in the next 90 days. Not sure if that was updated at the DFW meeting.

It was said definitely NOT ORD or IAH. Very possibly LAX, DEN or IAD. My fingers are crossed for DEN.

Long-time lurker, first time poster. I had my phone interview earlier today. It ended with the recruiter saying "we will get back to you next week with an answer." Seeing as people were being offered jobs on the spot after the phone interview, is this bad news for me?

Well, only you would know if there was something in your app/background that they need to run up the flag pole. If there isn't anything, then it's probably just an internal organization thing like they don't know which class to put you in just yet, or whether you need to go for a sim eval first, or whatever it is that's going on right now.

In order to add more E175s than they have already announced, United would have to:

A) Add a small narrowbody at mainline (E190 or Cseries), or
B) Get rid of some 70 seat aircraft

But these ones have been announced, just not who they're going to. And yeah, DEN would be great.

Isn't United parking some OO 700s this year?

Also in regards to a base - Definitely won't be ORD. OO and S5 already have a large EJET presence there.

If you don't have your ATP they will have to run it through the training department. They have only budgeted a certain amount per month.

Thanks, guys. I have a restricted ATP, but I'm exactly 80 hours short of my full 1500, if that had anything to do with it.

Yea I'm confused by the parking of some 700s because last I heard was that all of our 700s were getting wifi put in them this year. At least that's what JO said at that lunch thing a couple of months ago.

United is parking 700s this year. Not our 700s. No confusion necessary.
