Capitains, really??? I guess voice dictation is to blame for that one too?
MESA must be getting the cream of the crop lately.

I've found that Siri is one of the worst spellers alive. I say navigate to Chillis and it always gives me directions to Raisins. Epic fail Apple.

I agree, at RAH a CKA, whether it was line, IOE, sim or DPE, was always referred to as a "checkairman."

However, an "IOE Checkairman," at Mesa is regulary referred to as an "IOE Captain," by themselves, the company, and pilots on the line.

Just FYI - culture difference.

I really wish they would start cleaning the GD cockpits. I'm tired of developing a cough and the sniffles by day 4.

I load up on vitamin C and zinc, use alcohol wipes to no avail, and still management to catch something at least once a month. It wouldn't hurt to be addressed. We need a clean working environment.

It would be really nice to have a cleaning crew clean the cockpit at least once a week.
