New hire FOs receive a 6 month "standardization" check... Expect 2 legs with an LCA in the jumpseat. Dont stress but show prepared and fly the way that youre supposed to fly.

What's up with the online bidding today? Usually when I try to split trips or add trips, it takes an hour or two at most. My request has been processing all day. Is it because it's the weekend?

I was wondering about this weekend thing too. I'm on reserve this month and got my time slot a few days ago but they are all still showing RS3, I thought some days would be long call and others ready reserve. Or am I just confused?

No long call at right now. They will assign ready reserve a couple of days out throughout the month.

Are they allowed? As in, I won't be on the line so the grooming standards don't apply. Upgrade training, that is.

that's funny, however a bad idea and winters over btw? If you're coming over to the EJET I do not recommend that at all. If your on the CRJ side you might be able get away with if in CPH or YYZ and with certain instructors but still a bad idea. EJET has a few Examiners and chief types that are pretty serious when it comes to compliance. You'll never know their schedule even if you tried.

Or possibly, be like a bunch of PSA pilots and state that you have a medical condition. They looked sharp uniform wise. However the beard just all "coiffed" on top of edged up and with a fade just threw me for a loop.
