Trying to swap a trip next month, but there's a padlock icon next to the pairing I'm trying to drop. Crew Line Adjustments says it's because I've been scheduled for a line check. A line check? Didn't know FOs got line checks.

If you're an EJET pilot, we are all in the FSP because it is a new aircraft for Mesa. I think a line check rakes place at 9-12 months to complete that and release you from the FSP. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

Every FO is required to get a line check after IOE now. Depending on how much IOE you got, it will come at the 4, 5, or 6 month mark. Or so says my LCA friend.

I thought the end of IOE included a line check. When are new FOs due for AQP?
And did any other CRJ FOs get assigned E-jet pilot security training?

But the union lawyer kept saying on the conference call we should take it now - because it would be more money in our pocket now compared to years more of negotiating to only agree on "a little" more compensation then. Which would be a wash as until then we would be getting paid under this contract and could be making more.
Sorry for the big run-on sentence, I'm kind of thinking out loud here.
