People have been failed/fired from every airline for stuff like this. That's no reason to stoop to the gutter. If you want people to have a better opinion of us, then don't make such dirty statements about our employees. If you have a problem, deal with it; end of story.

Another stupid question....
On the skynet website for UA it shows 204 tickets booked for a capacity of 216, but the seat map shows over 30 empty seats. Does this mean people have no be assigned a seat, therefore the seat map isn't a good indication of whether you'll get on or not?

Best bet is to use auth/cap/booked until within 24 hours of departure, then cross check both, while looking at the nonrev stby list, from my experience.

The detailed boarding totals and Skynet data will tell you capacity/booked/SAs. That is the most accurate information you can get and what you should use for the best planning. The seat map is still a useful tool to get an idea of what's going on, but you have to realize what it's actually telling you. It reflects specific assigned/unassigned seats, not the number of unbooked seats. Booked passengers with unassigned seats are usually those who simply haven't checked in yet. So, as they check in and you get closer to departure time, the seat map gets increasingly more accurate.

Not trying to air out our dirty laundry on here, but is there any place where you can "report" FA's? I was just on a trip with some ghetto ass FA who constantly cursed in front of passengers, yelled at me for asking a question referring to the pax count. And after first introducing herself she referred to herself as a "pilot hater". It was quite ridiculous.
If the trip is over, I'd strongly consider writing an e-mail to my regional CP stating that you were concerned being a new hire FO on probation, and having worked a trip with an FA who constantly cursed within earshot of the pax. Write it professionally and respectfully, and mention that as someone completely new to the industry, you'd like to know the best way to deal with that kind of situation in the future if you have to work that person again.

Any military reservists out there who work for Mesa? I've heard some stories second hand that, laws aside, the company isn't particularly cooperative when it comes to mil leave. This is something I'm thinking of doing, but I'd like to be able to maintain my employment. PM me if you want.
