Few questions... I've been in class for a few weeks now and I'm trying to go home this weekend
About how long will it take to get into CASS?
Is there a way to check your CASS status? Go up to the gate?
I was told SWA will take cabin only even though our badge doesn't say crew member. Is this true?
Thanks

Not trying to flame, but in all honesty these routes should not be flown by either Mesa or Compass. "Regional" aircraft shouldn't be flying routes between some of the largest cities in the country (LAX-IAH, LAX-SFO) when they could easily fill up mainline aircraft all day.

Realize that if bad weather/cancellations happen and you can't get back to training in time, you may be let go.

Besides the entertainment Facebiter graciously provides, this thread has really gone downhill in the last few days. Can we get a few more stories about pleasantly plump individuals groping flight attendants and asking about how a jet engine works in indoc, right before their daily narcoleptic episode? Seriously, you guys are sucking the entertainment value right out of here.
The escapades of Facebitten at Mesa, and all the stories and counter-stories, are long past its fresh date. Please stop posting about him/it. As long as I can still hold in the gag reflex, I will be deleting those posts. When I can no longer control the gag reflex, I'll put posters into the disciplinary system.

I heard that in the last two months or so, there's been a few more people struggling on the Ejet side vs the CRJ side.

I don't disagree with you one bit and personally would've loved to see those airframes go to Envoy or AA rather than us, but we digress. My post was in response to deltajuliet saying we are doing those flights in 2016. Looks like that article says the first flight is in 26 days.

I was told to wait until we got our crew badges to jumpseat. I'm not sure at what point you get put into CASS but I know of a couple of guys who chanced it and got on without having a crew badge.
I didn't do it though because we were specifically told not to and I didn't want my name running across the chief pilot's desk as a new hire.
