About how long will it take to get into CASS?
Is there a way to check your CASS status? Go up to the gate?
I was told SWA will take cabin only even though our badge doesn't say crew member. Is this true?

Thanks
You don't have to be in CASS to go home, just use the United or US Air benefits. That's what I did.

I don't disagree with you one bit and personally would've loved to see those airframes go to Envoy or AA rather than us, but we digress. My post was in response to deltajuliet saying we are doing those flights in 2016. Looks like that article says the first flight is in 26 days.

With an employee badge you can get through security, walk up to the gate, and request to list as "cabin-only jump seat". Without your badge saying crew/positive cass status, you can not occupy the flight deck jump seat (DO NOT TRY!).

Realize that if bad weather/cancellations happen and you can't get back to training in time, you may be let go.

Mod Note #456

The escapades of Facebitten at Mesa, and all the stories and counter-stories, are long past its fresh date. Please stop posting about him/it. As long as I can still hold in the gag reflex, I will be deleting those posts. When I can no longer control the gag reflex, I'll put posters into the disciplinary system.

Are you the teacher's pet now? You're not a mod so I find you posting a mod note inappropriate

Phew!!! I'm glad you clarified that. I was starting to worry hell had frozen over. It had been a cold winter!

I heard that in the last two months or so, there's been a few more people struggling on the Ejet side vs the CRJ side.

I realize you guys are starting (have started?) LAX flying, but my understanding of the situation was that Mesa won't be gone as soon as originally expected. But I'm happy to learn more about the situation from your side. Do you know if it's a slow transition, is Compass slowly adding jets to the hub, or is it supposed to be up and running quickly? Again, I could have gotten bad information, fill us in on what you know because it affects a lot of us PHX people.

This. A friend of mine now in training rolled the dice the weekend before his oral and wound up having to buy a ticket back to PHX. Don't do it, boys and girls. Kiss the wife and kids goodbye til you're done with training, period.

Surprisingly, I haven't seen any major battles wth Mesa. They do have the best crew room, which is a source of contention: theirs is upstairs with a view, ours is down in the hole.
