Default Bonus

Any idea if mesa is offering a new hire bonus? If so how much? Cant find any info on it but have heard rumors. And the new airline central site is so outdated you can't trust it.

A few people who were in the early Dec hire class got PHX right out of training. It shouldn't be too long before those others who want PHX get awarded. Otherwise it's mostly DFW and IAD.

Any base that will get you off reserve the quickest will probably give you the best schedule which means DFW and IAD. This all pertains to the CRJ side. Can't speak for the EJET side sorry.

Still no bonus for new hires.

What's the attrition at Mesa? Any idea how many pilots are leaving every month?
And where are they getting hired?

Would getting hired by Mesa hurt your chances of being hired by a major in the future?

2 questions. Does Mesa have cancelation pay. Or are the trip rigging decent that either way does not make much difference. And with 175 experience is their a good chance I can get that iron?

About 7 pilots a month are leaving. Not sure where they are going. Is the last question serious? Majors don't care which regional you come from.

Mesa's cancelation pay was covered a few pages ago in this thread. We have a line guarantee, not leg by leg cancellation pay. No trip rigs. If you have 175 time you will likely be assigned that airframe.

I would guess 13-14 days off with 90-100hrs of credit is a reasonable expectation with the new software.

What base?

People are getting off reserve sooner in IAD and PHX than DFW. People junior to me in those bases are lineholders this month while I'm still sitting reserve in DFW, despite my in-base seniority being about 10% better than theirs.

The latest "CITREP" last week from one of the VPs is a plan on growing DFW to 800 pilots. Plus the training department is moving out there. Right now all signs point towards DFW. Personally I'd stay away from PHX. Too many lifers (CAs and FOs) and with the planned (at this point) closing of LAX the base will eventually shrink down again.

I'm a PHX based FO but I plan on being in DFW by the end of the year.
