Mesa
I just reread the Anderson interpretation. It sure reads to me that Mesa can keep you on the hook until the FDP actually ends. Mesa doesn't have work rules stipulating otherwise. There are no reserve rules requiring a call to see if there is additional flying etc. Is there another interpretation that clarifies that point?

Does mesa want to know every job you have ever had in the past 10 years, or just every aviation job?
.....like should I lost my mcdonalds job I had when I was 16? Durning high school and college, I worked over 10 different jobs. Can I just account for my educational years for the background check?

Anything past 10 years that taxes were deducted. Shows accuracy and openness on your part. Don't hide anything from them in the interview. Be more transparent than a Windex cleaned glass door. Let them decide if it is important. They asked for 10 years, so give it to them. Especially on your background check. The last thing that you want is to get through ground school and have something from your past bite you in the back that causes you to either delay your training or cost you your job for not divulging it in the beginning.
Hope that helps

This is Mesa, not Delta.
I think it's ok to leave out some odd jobs that you did while in college.
It's not like Mesa is going to try and track down Mrs. Smith, who's lawn you cut while in high school...
With that said, gaps in employment after being a full time student doesn't look too good on an application. I would account for all major employment from 18 years old thereafter.
But do put down anything that will come back on your criminal background check and PRIA.
That's what gets people the boot.

First off welcome to Mesa, I just got through ground school myself and have really enjoyed it. About a week before you head to PHX you will get an e mail of everything you will need to bring. One of those things is just a typed up list of all the places you have worked in the last 5 years, or maybe it was 10? I don't remember, but you can just turn that in on the first day, which is all paper work and the drug screen anyway. If you have any questions they will help you out with it, it's really not a big deal just as long as they get the information that they want.

Guys--they aren't out to get you--if they come across some discrepancy in your paperwork that isn't something huge, they'll bring you in and tell you what info they need.
If you're an average law-abiding citizen they aren't going to kick you out of class over something silly like forgetting to put down a non-aviation job you worked three months in high school--as long as you haven't covered up something huge like criminal stuff/DWIs/accidents/stuff that's in your PRIA, or former airline employers.
