It will be very difficult for regional pilot groups to make gains in that department. However, I hope Mesa pilots have some success there as it can then trickle to other pilot groups.

OPS CHECK GUD - help us understand something. If they hire a mid January class for 175s. What would these newhires do until mid June when the first revenue flight takes off? I mean when would they be able to begin IOE? Doesn't a Mid Jan class seem way too early? Unless they want to get ahead of the game and don't mind guys sitting around for weeks waiting.

Check airman class starts Jan 7. I highly doubt there will be any new hire e175 classes in jan.

New hire class starts in April, CA's only in January. As of right now it will be ONLY newhires going into the 175 as FO's

Next class date I am aware of is Dec 5th. class size still TBD

Anyone know what the hotel/pay is like for training?

What base will the E-Jets be at? IAD or ORD? Or are they opening up another base for the 175s.

There has yet to be an official announcement. Houston is the strongest rumor. But I've heard everything else between San Fran and Newark.
