I feel bad for the guys that came here thinking they'll catch the fast upgrade wave when I think about our pitiful health insurance.

Mesa has the worst health insurance of any airline--if you're relatively healthy, you'd prob be better off just paying the Obamacare tax and paying for everything out of pocket.

Well that's exactly it though. The typical new FO seems to be younger single males who are healthy and don't require regular trips to the doctor. No wife, no kids, and nobody else to worry about. In that case you get the cheapest plan, or get a catastrophic plan and self insure the rest.

These 7 More CRJ900s are confirmed by the training dept.

Now, I wonder when management is going to make the official announcement.

Are the new hire classes still full and booked out a couple months?

No. My friend applied a few days ago and they begged him to take the dec class. It was too soon for him, so they got him a jan 5 one.

Also, FAA axed the re-try or retrain type rides.

New standard is Pass or Fail.

Mesa will now be joining the likes of the TSA's and PSA's with-- in a Mesa DPE's words "50-60% new hire pass rate"

What airlines allow retraining/retry on type rides?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but
type rides had pretty much been PC's up until now.
