And yes, we are talking about two different points. I'm talking about senior FOs and the ability to hold CRJ vs EJET.

And no, I'm not new, I've been here since hiring started last year, RAH /E175 refugee.

In that case, "welcome to
Mesa newbe"

Haha. Oh boy. Then 35% + of the seniority list is newbies

If you're flamebaiting his name's "Facebiter" and he's around here somewhere spreading his anti-roid rage.

Lol that's kinda what I was thinking???

Here's a temporary breakdown of where we'll eventually be:

IAD – 20 CRJ700s
IAH – 30 E175s
DFW – 29 CRJ900s
PHX – 17 CRJ900s
LAX – 9 CRJ900s

CLT drawdown starts towards the end of the year when
that flying begins to move to DFW.

Ever since they were announced there has been speculation of a second E-Jet base in ORD. It was never a foregone conclusion that all 30 would go to IAH until now. For those of us who care about these things this was news.

Ok got it now. Definitely see what you meant now. Honestly, you never know though? It might comeback with Ejets but seems like thats gonna be Skywests playground for now.

Ah, I figured that was a hypothetical second Ejet contract.

But those LAX CRJ's are all Phoenix-based for now, right? I thought PHX was bigger than that, but the numbers make sense.

Yeah, no. He could have been a downgraded CRJ CA, of which there were a lot who waited to upgrade to the EJET. No violation of the CBA there. There were a fair number of downgrades who went for the EJET instead of going back to the CRJ. Hence, they're not "initial cadre". I know most of those "initial cadre" guys and they were not Jr CRJ CA before they went over there, our former regional chief pilot for IAD/ORD was, I think, one of the more JR guys who went to the initial cadre.

You just weren't here when all the downgrading/furloughing went on, Prior, you wouldn't have known that.

No future growth accounted for in those numbers. Those are planes and bases that have been listed and announced thus far.

No word on projected but still a lot of options on the horizon I'm hearing.
