Why does is it sound that you would be more than happy if Eagle's negotiations went down the crapper?

I'm pretty sure that 20sx said that just to mess with Jvw700. He comes in here and rails on Mesa from time to time, so it's all in good fun.

Actually my question was an honest one. Just wondering if there's something more substantial to it than just rumor?

Is anyone going to the roadshow in CLT today? Let us know what you hear.
It's not, everyone has there own private agendas. Hell when I was downgraded I had to be a slam clicker. Could'nt afford to spend money. But if we have a long overnight I might ask, "want to grab a beer, it's on me":

But when entire pages are "Bro", it looks immature. I'd actually love to hear what each of those are... 3-Holer is probably one of the Trijets. Diesel 9 - DC9? Scarebus is Airbus. The others I really don't know. Also, "click it-lock it" and "slam-clicker"?

A slam clicker is someone who doesn't do anything with the crew on overnights. They close their door (slam) and lock it. (Click)

Honestly, here I'm a slam clicker, I don't like to waste my money on beers with people I have already spent the entire day with.

Usually the age gap between myself and captains here is so great the last thing I want to do is spend another hour at the bar with them.

I'm sure that'll change when I upgrade, I'll be making more money and I bet I'll be flying with guys and gals that are more my age.

3-Holer or Trisaurus is the 727, named by Boeing, the whisper jet. That's funny. That bird is the noisiest beast ever created. Deisel 9, your right is the DC-9. Tritanic is MD-11, Dork jet is the Dornier or Do-Jet. EMB 180 is actually the EMB-170, is was re-named the 180 because if you didn't let the P-bit test run before touching the controls you got a (flight controls no dispatch) Eicas message. Which was a return to the gate. Death tube was the under powered Metroliner without the longer wings and before the Garrett -10 engines. Pretty much if you lost one engine on rotation your hands were full, picking up your feet at the end of the runway. Lawn Dart is the CRJ-9, just look at it. Mad Dog, the MD-80.

Yeah things have changed. We use to have fun good-looking flight attendants and a younger pilot group. So back in the day it was like, "so what are we doing tonight"?

Thanks for the rundown.

I moved out of my old place because all my roommate wanted to do was party. It got old real fast, especially when you had to be at the airport 6 a.m. the next morning. But because I didn't drink all the time with him or enjoy loud bass at 2 a.m., I was quickly dubbed "anti-social."

Sort of get the feeling airlines are the same way. You're almost expected to go out with people when sometimes all you want to do is go to your room and hit the pillow or call the wife. Does slam-clicker have a negative connotation and cut you off from the collective? Or is it no big deal?
