I don't mean they're "very forgiving" in terms of standards. FaceBiter's gonna twist those words to no end now (jeez what is his beef with Mesa?!?!??!). So I deleted that post to save him/her some time.

By "forgiving" I meant they're much more willing to give people a few extra sim sessions, and a bit more time to study compared to many other regionals. They won't send you to the street unless you've proven again and again that you aren't going to hack it on the line.

Part of that is AQP, part of that is our training department's culture and the top notch people who work in it.

I don't mean to be a Mesa cheerleader--there are lots of things needing fixing around here--I'm just saying if you fail at Mesa you probably got the fairest shot possible in our training department, and you would very likely washout much quicker in a less forgiving/stingy training department and/or with some of the psycho check airmen at certain other 121 regionals with whom I am familiar.

All you care about is getting hired at a place that hires ppl with multiple busts and who has an easy training department... I hope to God Mesa doesn't hire you you're going about this all the wrong way.

It's not "easy"--it's forgiving.

Ok, Mesa haters, keep twisting my words--you got me before I could clarify what I was saying and before I could delete my poorly-worded post.

I quit this thread--too many d-bags. Bye.

He posts left and right asking ppl where he can get hired with multiple busts etc etc forgiving easy whatever he's a weak pilot and wants to find the easiest place to get hired.

i havent interviewed with them yet so i dont know what they will say. if the crj dfw base is true i admit it will become very appealing to me. ill let you know what happens cruz since you are probably the only one that actually cares.

I'd argue that a 121 is not a place to be learning your craft. That's what all that time building is for. You shouldn't be learning how to fly with 76 people behind you.

maybe ill start in caravans or beech 1900's. i really havnt made the decision of where i want to go yet. but i dont believe that because im a weak pilot now that i cant improve and work towards being a good and proficient pilot at a regional. there is too much time invested to just walk away now. if i have to start small thats fine but to say that i should walk away from the entire profession well ill tell you right now that simply isnt going to happen.
