I believe there are 90 E-Jet airframes up for grab still at AA. I hope Envoy gets the majority and you guys deserve them. I have a lot of friends over there. I would just like 5 out of DFW so I don't have to commute.

Yes, the passengers come up to the flight deck all the time and tell me how comfortable this aircraft is. It's kind of weird though, with the larger aspect ratio of the E-Jet compared to the CRJ, I figured you can chop and drop. But this bird is slippery as hell. Plus no boards once you go to flaps 2.

I'm very surprised the other regionals haven't caught up with reality that it doesn't matter how great your contract/pay is--people care more about growth/upgrade times. Get the lifers out or grow--that's the only way anyone is going to make a lateral transfer!

Wowza. You guys are delusional. I don't even know what to say.
Why, flaps is right! That should be everyone's goal, Skywest, XJT, RAH or here!

Do you care to elaborate on this?

The 175 is less aerodynamically clean, so one would assume you could descend at idle faster than the crj.

So with that logic can you chop and drop a 777?

How about the weird flight director? I imagine that takes some getting used to?
