Another class after you guys? Or part of your Indoc? I saw a few from your group around the training center today, but where the heck was your classroom?
And Beech, I think the ERJ classes are filled a few months in advance (probably through October), but CRJ classes usually have open spots a month or two out.

They offered me a crj class. What are the chances I could snake into a erj class?...I'm a 135 guy with 1900TT 700 multi 600tpic. I'll take the crj, but Iah would be a better commute for me.

You could always ask to be put in a later ERJ class and just wait a little longer, that way it's a sure thing. Otherwise, maybe a 20% chance. We had two guys who managed it in our class, one ERJ hire had personal issues come up and dropped out of class, I forget what happened with the other guy (no-show?). So the first two CRJ guys to volunteer got the slots.
In regards to your commute, it's worth mentioning that there's a rumor going around that Mesa will get an AA contract for Dallas. It seems legitimate. Who knows how long it might take or which plane they'll put there, though.

Since the E175 is new to Mesa, most pilots don't have much time in type. For that reason they prefer applicants who already have experience in it. Of course, most new-hires don't have an Embraer type rating, so that's where the mix comes in. They do value prior glass-cockpit experience, however.

One more question: Are CRJ fos holding out up bid erj captains there?

Are they waiting past when they could upgrade to do it to the ERJ? I know that's happening a little bit, but I don't know to what extent.
