If you got paid $22.18 for 8 hours a day during training, you'd pull in around $5,300 a month. That seems way too high...

My guess is this: We're guaranteed 76 flight hours a month, and at $22.18 that comes out to about $1700/month, or $850/pay period.

No idea about per diem during training (I just assume not, I'm cynical that way), or about Denmark (but how cool would it be to go there?).
I spent a while in Copenhagen. Gorgeous in the summer. Very dreary in the winter. And the prices for food, etc., will give you a coronary. Best have a bunch of cash saved up before heading out there. But again, it is truly a splendid place to be 1) in summertime and 2) if Mom and Dad can afford to send you there

Anyone heard more news on DFW?
You're a reserve phx base. You earn 75 hours reserve guarentee at $22.18, and it's prorated if you weren't an employee for the whole month. If your sim is anywhere other than phx, you're payed per diem for the duration at $1.29?.

New hires with sims in St. Louis are not getting any per diem however Copenhagen I believe they are.

I'm incredibly appreciative of how informative everyone is.

When it comes to per diem, are you only paid that extra during work hours? For every single hour you're elsewhere? How do they work it?

Anyone heard more news on DFW?
And no, but I'd certainly love to hear more about that as well.

You would get per diem for every hour you are away from your base, which is PHX since you're in training.

Mesa's training pay is $22.18 at min guarantee and single occupancy hotel rooms all throughout training, which is actually really good when compared to some of the other regionals.

So let's say you fly Phoenix to Tulsa for an overnight. You take off at 12:00 noon, land in Tulsa at 2:00 p.m. Then you leave the next day at 2:00 p.m., arriving back in Phoenix at 4:00 p.m.

In this scenario, you're given 24 hours of per diem, or 28 hours?

Per diem = TAFB(time away from base)
