That said, some of us occupy seniority numbers at Mesa, and as such we care about our future, as do you at Skywest and all our colleagues at their respective regional airlines.

What point does it serve to try and one-up the other by comparing assets and liabilities. We all suck dude! And the people who pay us - what little they pay us - to carry the responsibilities we carry, count on this mentality, which is pervasive, to keep us divided and play us one against the other.

Agreeeee get time move on .

Here's last quarters ontime performance ranked by the DOT

1. Hawaiian
2. Frontier
3. Alaska
4. SkyWest

Now the shear capacity we operate in ie United, Delta, Airways, Alaska and Eagle is pretty impressive. I think Mesa was #16.

Are you some sort of rep for skywest ? Or did u just get hired there?

Training is no longer at Williams Gateway. School house is located adjacent to PHX sky harbor, southwest side. Sim is 2 blocks from there at America West Sim complex. Yes I said AMW.

My nephew (and half his class) did all sims/LOFT/checkride at Williams/ASU, and about half the class before him. Recurrent+Upgrades+New Hires=not enough sim time at SkyHarbor alone.

I remember in 2004 wearing a suit and tie at some fancy Phoenix hotel, and interviewing with two pilots to hopefully get a job at Mesa. Phone interview for a pilot position? One of many indications on where this company and industry is heading. Enjoy reserve new hires!

I'm with you man I had the "full court press" for mine back in the day. I really feel the recruiting team is under ridiculous pressure to get guys In the door. The thing about it is that they can get em in but they'll just wash out in training, or in most cases while waiting the month or so for their "CREW" badge to clear for CASS. I've heard that in the last few months they've gotten rid of a few due to hidden items or non disclosed items on recs. request. by HR.

I'm being told Mesa needs hundreds of pilots and from credible sources. However mgmt. has made no effort to really assemble the required manpower for such a task beyond 2 senior pilots doing interviews and fairs.

Mesa will **** any additional flying away due to the Mgmt. team's complete over bloated ego thinking pilots with SJS will grovel for this job.?

They'll be right but only when those E175s show.
