The company has made no bones, saying if we expect to get more flying in the future, we must keep costs low. I expect they won't budge on this - especially with their ability to fill classes easily.
It ALWAYS comes down to this question being posed: Do you want a living wage, or a big shiny jet with an upgrade?

But why would one go to Skywest with all those 50 seaters? Just saying.

SkyWest, better pay, better schedules, better company. If he doesn't need PIC then SkyWest would be the way to go. Mesa, bad pay, bad schedules, poorly ran. But with the additional aircraft coming, SJS people galore with a promise of quick upgrade.

Yeah, thing is I turned down too many classes with skywest so I burned that bridge recently...now I am ready to start, and yes I need PIC, so given that I interviewed with compass and didn't pass their computer based tests, I figure the next best thing would be mesa. Especially since I can interview with them at the job fair and maybe start soon.

BTW, I was wrong in my earlier post. I'm hearing 10 for the end of January, and then 40 in March.

I'm working on that. How are those student loans treating you? Oh! I forgot, DaDa paid all that for you. Why did you leave Republic? You wanted to try the business world out. What happened? Missed flying? I think you couldn't cut it now we have another super koolaid powered FO telling us how it is in the professional pilot world. Oh, you have Prior 121 experience, (that's cute). I guess that makes you the Chuck Yeager of the regionals. And remember, it's the captains, the downgraded, the FO's that have been here for a while getting these aircraft out on time to get these new contracts. So folks like you have a job and a chance at a quick upgrade. And wipe that brown hue off your face, the training department and management want you out of there ass.
