heres a little substance.
Nothing really substantive to give you though. No rumors...still doing upgrades and hiring. Moved up 20 seniority numbers in a couple months...
-COMPENSATION CONTINUES TO REMAIN TABLED.
-PERFOMANCE NUMBERS SLIPPING
-EMBRAER RUMOR FADING INTO THE MIST WITH THE GORILLA GLUE SCENT PEOPLE WERE SNIFFING.

Friends/Crewmembers:
Our recruiting efforts this weekend were at the Future Airlines Pilots of America, FAPA, conference in Denver yesterday. ******* and ******* made presentations plus meet and greet at the Denver Airport Marriott Gateway. August 1 and 2 they will be at the OBAT job fair followed by the big Global event in Chicago.
Noting Industry events the ALPA International Air Safety Forum takes place this week July 15-18 at the Washington Hilton in DCA. I believe this is the 59th ASF.
Monday ***** from SOC will be representing us for 2 weeks up at Sabre Airline Solutions running FAR 117 test scenarios to determine crew staffing requirements when the new rule goes into effect Jan 4, 2014. Again staffing build to meet additional needs will be reflected in classes scheduled to kick off October 1.
The additional New Hire and Upgrade classes for July are kicking off on schedule. Out of 19 New Hires expected, 17 showed.
We did Section 6 and System Board work in PHX this past week.
Regards and thanks,
MF (DFO)

I am starting class on August 8th and look forward to the challenge and scheduled 121. Any study material that you can send me would be very helpful. I am looking forward to joining Mesa and I hope I can make a difference and learn from the wealth of knowledge of pilots I fly with.

Or less on the Dash!! I miss that company like I miss a root canal... Hope you're ready to apply for food stamps! I flew with Captains who were on them! Pretty fing pathetic! Although I do miss the crews, had a lot of fun with them.

I flew with junior captains there making over $80,000 when they were paying double time for open time. You could definitely do alright if you used their lack of foresight or organization against them.

I'm just curious, I did not take a job with Mesa, I'm pretty sure I'll continue to avoid the regionals, I'm making more doing maintenance easily, and home everyday. I am shopping around to switch back to flying full time, but I am patient enough not to give in to SJS and take a better job elsewhere.

You sure you weren't referring to Shipublica? Aka republic and their pandemic E175 SJS syndrome?
Anyways!!! More power to you, avoid this crap if you can? The lack of compensation and the union's unwillingness to do anything about it is borderline unbearable and should be intolerable.
