You are being nice.... There were at least 6 birds there last time I was there. And a total of 3 ENGINES attached to planes. One plane had two engines, another had one... And one had an APU missing....

Is United activating and implementing a contingency plan to replace MESA?.....it appears that United dose not have a problem with CRJ200's but it dose have a problem with the operator.....

The engines thing is standard paractice for lease returns. All lease returns have to have the original engines that were installed on the a/c when it was accepted from the lessor. You have to find thos engines and if they are on another a/c you have to schedule tho a/c in to remove those engines and install another engine. Now as far as being hangar queens, that is on MAG. With the material condition that MAG likes to keep their a/c and how stingy they are as far as buying spare parts, I'm sure they have cannabalized the hell out of those a/c!

Per the link it seems to indicate that the ATL court has until Jul.11 to render a verdict, if not it xfers to BK court. Is that accurate?
BTW Winglet, I don't disagree with your reply to my last post regarding the emergancy motion to reup the LoC. That motion has been granted and the court will hear the case tommorow. Mesa should get approval on that, IMO. However when MAG entered BK JO said the company had enough money to get by, but now a month later is asking the court for approval to get financing. If JO's remarks or the like are in court documents then they would be most likely under oath. Again I don't think that will keep the motion from being approved but it might bring more scrutiny from the court and creditors.

Just because OJ is making a bunch of wild claims against DL does not mean there's any basis at all for his claims...last time he tried to BS a judge it cost him $80M
Not knowing any inside info (but having seen firsthand how mag tracks, manipulates, and documents performance numbers) I'm inclined to assume DL has a legit case. I wouldn't plan on mag getting a $70M windfall, or even keeping that flying. Even the BK judge has to consider the merits of the original case fairly, not just take into account what's best for mag in BK.

Do you mean like the federal district court in Atlanta that awarded Mesa a preliminary court injunction to block the contract termination?
Or the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals who affirmed that decision after Delta appealed?
"The evidence showed that Delta induced Mesa to agree to Delta's coordinated cancellations by promising not to count such cancellations against it and then, having benefited from Mesa's willingness to extend Delta this courtesy, attempted to cancel the parties' contract on the theory that this promise was invalid as a matter of law. In light of this evidence, the district court did not abuse its discretion when it granted Mesa's motion for a preliminary injunction." 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, July 2009
