Default Thanks Winglet

Oh yeah, most importantly: WINGLET, thanks for the information (objectivity) that you have provided thus far in this thread. I have learned quite a bit of good information from your posts thus far and I appreciate that. You are ahead of the curve!

Has anybody here ever read the book Wealth, War and Wisdom? I'm curious about the relationship between the book subject and the stock price of Mesa, still being higher than last years low.....

The Duke,

Thanks, I was beginning to think I was wasting my time. The thing that got me started on this was all the misinformation and wild rumors out there. I enjoy "mythbusting". I like to deal in facts. I've learned alot myself by posting. This forum can be a good thing if you ignore all the trolls and flame bait.

As for Mesa, a lot of things are going to transpire over the next couple of months. I'm going to try and stay informed. One thing is certain: If Mesa survives this, then it will be a very different company and anything goes after that. At this time all options remain on the table.

Take Care,

winglet

All of the above...hopefully. The entire Major Airline/Regional Airline structure is about to experience a paradigm shift. Mesa Air Group won't be the last code share partner to experience this change. Look at Mesa as just the "canary in a coal mine".

Like to add to "The Duke's" thanks to you, "Winglet" (definitely not "Winglets") has kept this thread concise. Other than Freedom and ComAir switching places for DL, I don't have a dog in this fight. Unfortunately, your company's mis-management has put you between a rock & hard place.

You have really hit on something others seem to be missing, but the majors haven't... watching how the RAH acquisition pans out. This will be the future. Scope? Keep your scope, we'll just "code-share" with regionals flying major equipment. This and United/Aer Lingus may give insight into the future direction at MAG, IMHO.

yea, i agree that there will be several airlines that follow, but won't there be a point in time where it won't matter how badly the airlines are being run, simply because of the 65 rule?

seems like this could be a good time for change in the industry, but its possible that the issues won't be addressed once the boomers start leaving

Default Mesa Receives Relief on Financial Reporting

Mesa Air Group received relief today on providing financial reports to the court until the later of March 5th or five days prior to the Section 341 Meeting. This is one of the only meetings MAG will have to personally attend during the proceedings. This is the meeting where MAG will have to "fairly and honestly" represent their assets, income and debts under oath before the creditors and the trustee. This information will be vital in helping all parties to the bankruptcy determine the viability of MAG. (Remember those "skeletons" I was talking about? MAG better come clean before the courts or the trustee and creditors may not be inclined to restructure).
