I don't see how you're drawing that conclusion from this PR.

P.S. I wish we could still smite/knight... old MAG guys will know what this is.

What ever happened to that site?

And agreed let's keep this about BK. I met Chris several years ago at the holiday party and talked with him about getting my law degree and such, gave me his card and told me he would be willing to help out in anyway. Great guy in my mind for the job...

I found a interesting CAE job posting on climb3.. for a part time sim instructor position CRJ9 in phoenix, located on the US Airways training center. It would not make any sense to me that if Airways will start to train its pilots on the CRJ9, unless Airways might have a plan to buy mesa and merge it with their wholly owned. Just my speculation on this upside down industry.

PSA, Piedmont, and Air Wisconsin have their own CRJ and Dash sims inside the Charlotte training center. It doesn't mean anything. 2 of us are WO subsidiaries but not Wisconsin and even they have a sim in CLT. Express does close to 60% of all flying flying for US Airways so its probably in their interest to have some sims in house.

I doubt Airways wants to buy Mesa anymore then they'd like to sell their subsidiaries PSA and Piedmont to Mesa.

What a CF this would be... does this rumor have any real teeth yet? Maybe we need a "What will happen to MAG Post-BK" poll, eh?

Okay, Uncle, I give up... anyone know how to create one of those polling deals?

Default Exit Date

Anyone have any solid information on when Mesa will exit BK? I know its this month but just wondering how its determined when they will exit? I am thinking (hoping) that Mesa should have some huge announement shortly afterward that allows me to have my job back sooner.

From what information is available, in order for MAG to exit Chap. 11 they must satisfy an administrative claim to the the tune of 40 million. Until that has been paid in full, in cash MAG will basically linger in Post plan approval purgatory. Once this claim is satisfied, the court will assign an effective date for the plan, which will basically be MAGs exit date from BK.
Lately there hasn't been much public information regarding the admin claim or attempts to resolve it.
