Cs are kind of hangar queens so that might increase costs... And the prices would probably be everything must move bargain basement prices. Heh.

Can get a single pilot type rating on the D model -- check airman have, or used to have them, so they could give instruction in the plane.

all working groups usually file as creditors. especialy if the compnay filings don't specifically say that they intend to continue paying labor per agreed contract.

Depends what you do for Mesa. I instruct for ASU/MAPD partime in the FTD. I have not received pay for a lesson I completed back in Nov, so I recently questioned the MAPD payroll lady. She said all the FTD instructors are considered contract employees, and directed me to the website to fill out a creditor claim to attempt to get my money.

So yes they have missed payroll, however, my FO pay was received today without problem.

You are lucky; Mesa has continually messed up my pay as an FO. I am on furlough as of early December and still haven't been paid my vacation that was due. I have tried to contact the company and my MEC both with no luck. Mesa will do anything to save a buck, including attempting to intentionally mis pay it's employees.

Default Trustee appoints ALPA Co-Chair of Committee

Not only is ALPA on the Unsecured Creditor Committee but it appears that the Committee has selected ALPA as Co-Chair. This is very important as the co-chair duties deeply involve them in the proceedings.

(1) Chair: the Chair shall:
  1. Convene or direct Committee Counsel to convene meetings of the Committee, or authorize the Committee to convene meetings as necessary.
  2. Preside at the meetings of the Committee.
  3. Direct Committee Counsel to have agendas prepared for the meetings of the Committee.
  4. Appoint appropriate subcommittees.
  5. Serve as ex-officio member of all subcommittees to which the chair is not appointed as a member.
  6. Perform such other duties as may be delegated to the chair by the Committee which are not inconsistent with these by-laws.
Stay Tuned...

IN the MX side a couple of our guys did not get their checks from Mesa (one of the checks bounced he has to call payroll to get that fixed)

In my case I did not get my check until Saturday morning (when usually you get them on Friday. ). Kinda of scary when I think about it
