Mesa Air Group Chapter 11 Info
#1162
What involvement would Mesa have in the recent E190 crash in China?
"The airline is a joint venture between Shenzhen Airlines of China and Mesa Air Group of the US, and is based in Henan province. It was previously known as Kunpeng Airlines"

Zero. Typical aviation reporting. MAG ceased all involvment with China in June, 2009.
MAG started up a joint venture with Shenzhen Airlines in China in October, 2007. The airline was known as Kunpeng and consisted of a handful of CRJ-200's. Shenzhen and MAG elected to terminate the relationship when Shenzhen decided to go it alone and purchase the E-190's. The airline was renamed Henan.
