The rumor I hear is that the 900 flying will be divided between the following companies: Skywest, Republic, Pinnacle, ExpressJet, AWAC, and TSA. Mesa will continue to operate precisely 7.2 aircraft.

MAG agreed to waive it's rights to add the 20 CRJ 700's and in return UAL agrees that MAG's claims in the Federal court do not constitute a default of the UAL Express agreement and MAG retains it's right to assume the contract in bankruptcy court.
MAG is basically cleaning up all the litigation cases prior to submitting a POR.

FWIW, our SkyWest SAPA chair has told us that AWAC is indeed pursuing more UsAir flying and is one of the front runners for it.
