The CRJ Flying Stops in April......Period.....unless they give 180 days notice to extend beyond April......not good news at all.....Gods speed to the Crews and there family's

UGH.. that is 26 planes plus the 10 DH-8? Ugly.
How senior is the United Flying compared to the Airways?

If Mesa Looses the 26 CRJ 200's for United it could force them quickly into Bankruptycy on order to survive....... if that's even possible at this point. There are bigger problems at hand than which base is more senior but the US air system holds the most senior Pilots....

The D-8's could do it too, if he still is making lease or mortgage payments on them.

The D-8's are leased Aircraft....Left over from the Delta fiasco....the vultures are circling.....I hope they will be able to pull through.

the way it works
United had to give notice by the end of October to terminate the Dash contract. If not it automatically renews for six months at a time.
It's the opposite for the CRJ no notice equals termination by the end of October. Which is to be expected. IT'S NOT A SHOCKER!
Just like in Football season when do they usually negotiate Contracts? After the season.
Now the games begin and those that pay to play will probably win?
Either way I hate that many are losing their jobs and would not wish any of this on anyone even my worst enemy. Lives and families are at stake here!
