Psh what? 2 cents? I remember someone boasting on here about buying Mesa Stock. It's just a matter of time before Mesa is gone...and then there were 6...

So I would assume that the CRJ flying is ok since today is 10/30 and they need to give 180 notice?

UGH.. that is 26 planes plus the 10 DH-8? Ugly.

How senior is the United Flying compared to the Airways?

If Mesa Looses the 26 CRJ 200's for United it could force them quickly into Bankruptycy on order to survive....... if that's even possible at this point. There are bigger problems at hand than which base is more senior but the US air system holds the most senior Pilots....

Losing 26 RJ's would definitely put him in BK IMO.

The D-8's could do it too, if he still is making lease or mortgage payments on them.

Default the way it works

United had to give notice by the end of October to terminate the Dash contract. If not it automatically renews for six months at a time.

It's the opposite for the CRJ no notice equals termination by the end of October. Which is to be expected. IT'S NOT A SHOCKER!

Just like in Football season when do they usually negotiate Contracts? After the season.

Now the games begin and those that pay to play will probably win?

Either way I hate that many are losing their jobs and would not wish any of this on anyone even my worst enemy. Lives and families are at stake here!

Off topic but It still makes me a little sick to see Paul Foley's name attached to anything related to the airline industry.
