Don't forget to end your sentences with proper punctuation.

Exactly Irish, exactly.....and for what it's worth, my foreclosure happens friday at noon, and me and my g/f of 7 years broke up this past weekend...so yes, people are going to lose a lot and already are... was flying worth it? I'd have to say no... time for something else

Sorry to hear that dude. Hopefully things will work out for you in the near future. If you are youger than 29 there is the Air Guard and I believe the Army has raised their cut off age for Warrent Officers to 45. Tough times call for tough decisions.

With all of the mirth and schadenfreude that can occur here as we discuss the fates of our various companies it is important to remember that for each cancelled contract, displacement, or furlough, there is a real, human toll. The folks who run these companies suffer comparatively little from the results of bad business decisions and economic downturn. The consequences land on the pilots and other employees responsible for day to day operations. It would be nice if we could all take a break from the "Die, regional, die" dialog.

Best of luck, AZ Flyin'. I hope that life after airline flying is rich and rewarding for you.

Thank you, I really appreciate that.. being as I'm in my late 30's not sure what road I'm going to take, all I know is that all the sacrifice to get here wasn't worth the sacrifice I'm going through... To the young guys who take this for granted, be grateful you got in it young and have many more options..

Thank you... that's why I hate the bashing that goes on... we're all real people trying to make the best decisions for us and our families... the real enemy is management that perpetuates this cycle over and over and creates friction amongst us pilots.... I don't care what company anyone works for, as long as they're not a scab, I don't want to see anyone from any company lose anything... thanks again for your kind words..

This has nothing to do with the Mesa Pilots, FA, dispatchers etc...
But in 2005 United put there regional flying up for bid, back when UAX was ACA/SKW/AWAC
Mesa came in and underbid ACA and for the most part AWAC... after ACA couldnt compete with the low ball bid by MESA and then had to fight off a hostle stock take over by MESA formed INDY AIR... which we all know was a failure from the start. But 1800 pilots lost there jobs because of JO and his $%^ tactics... I hate to see this happen again to the worker bee's.. But karma came back to bite JO in his a@# and I hope he gets whats coming to him.
