So Mesa officially forced upgrades. They forcefully upgraded about 20 FO's on both Ejet and crj side.i guess we will see how this plays out. Lots of greener pastures out there for 1000 hour pilots.

Yep. If they had their apps in. If they are scrambling to apply right after they are forced to upgrade…well interviews and class date assignments take months.

I agree. I think those people thought "surely it will never happen" or "surely they won't pick me, there are people more junior than me who they will pick" etc. So they never bothered to apply elsewhere. Too late now.

No matter where they go it’s an upgrade.

FO's keep getting emails about potential displacements and to put your bid in for displacement equipment and stuff.

I'm currently on CRJ. I am wondering, how is EJET and 737 flying if I were to choose it as my equipment IF we are displaced sometime in the future?

I heard 737 flying is mostly nights, what time to what time usually? and what are the routes? I also heard its the same 3-4 airports over and over again originating from CVG.

And ejet routes?

Thanks.

Also, if one goes to the 737, will they lose their AVIATE status?

Currently on the 737 we do only have 5 airports we fly too (STL, OMA, MEM, MSP, SLC) with 4 planes. rumor is we are supposed to have 10 by the end of the year if we can keep it staffed (half of every class quits). You leave around 6am sit at a hotel all day then come back at night landing around 1am.

I am in the AVIATE so i doubt you would loose it.

This has to do with forced upgrades.

Ok that sucks then. I am still going to put my standing displacement FO bid for the EJET. I have a strong feeling either one or the other, or both, of SDF/DFW will close in the near future, and everyone will be displaced there. Was looking forward to moving on from the CRJ to EJET lol.
