looks like Mesa is now forcing CRJ FO's to upgrade into the EJET. Some questions

1 - Is it possible to bid for 737 CA upgrade from CRJ FO? or is it very senior.

2 - How is pass rates looking for CRJ FOs who are upgrading straight to the EJET?

the answer is to bail before you have to do that. Why anyone would stay and potentially bust their upgrade on a new jet during this 121 hiring spree is beyond a head scratcher for me.

The answer is because upgrading at a regional and getting TPIC is the fastest way to the legacies.

Know your stuff and you won't bust. It's that easy.

Using that logic. Why would someone leave and potentially bust on a new type ride somewhere else, then potentially be unhirable?

you don’t need TPIC for the legacies . Maybe FedEx. Regional FO’s are getting hired from the right seat to the legacies. If you bust, it’s just a retake. You are likely already at your final stop.

What's the latest with DFW going away on the AA side? I have a ERJ class date in August (cant start till then cause of my age) and am hoping for IAH. But....Girlfriend lives in Dallas. Wondering if I could/should switch to the CRJ and maybe get Dallas

Also, are there any training delays on the ERJ side of things?

Not in today's market. Being at a regional may actually hinder your career advancement...especially as a Captain. Mainline is feeling the pain of their regional partners as Captain's leave the regionals.

No delays on the ERJ or CRJ right now. We went through the Ejet training in 60 days beginning to check ride.

Are they getting you through OE alright? or are there delays in OE, I'd be SHOCKED if mesa didn't have delays anywhere.

And how's the flying right now? I know about 6 months back, no body was really flying at all.
