What do the new hires think about the new training format? Do you feel there is enough time to digest the material? Specifically systems with only a few days of class? How is the online training?

It was less than stellar. The online training is good, however, the systems class felt like a waste of time. The instructor knew less about the systems than we did as a class. They need to have more experienced and competent people teaching the ground school classes, especially if they're trying to shorten the footprint. A lot of the information we were given in class was incorrect compared to the manuals. Most of the ground school instructors still have the ink drying on their commercial pilot certificate...
