Wholly-Owned….
Well the scope agreement is in place….however if United were to purchase Mesa and staple the seniority list to the bottom of the United list…now we have “ United” pilots flying 79 seater planes. My guess is either way we are looking at a purchase not just a regional contract….how that will effect the pilots at both mainline and regional side cannot be determined till more information is released….this has been in the works for at least a year.

The only thing confirmed is AA saying they will part ways. Any other speculation is just that. No one knows what will happen, good or bad. So best wished to current Mesa pilots and FA’s! Hopefully everything works out in your favor in the end

United has been going those salaries and benefits for the better part of a year already. It also puts them on a level playing field with their counterparts who own their subsidiary carriers and have complete control over them. Just a thought….been in this industry for 20+ years and the one thing I know is nothing is certain even when it’s certain!

Have to say the amount of guys burying their heads in the sand and acting like everything is gonna be fine is a bit surprising. I wish nothing but the best for my brethren at Mesa, but everyone there should be formulating a plan B at the minimum and more preferably a quick exit strategy. Good luck guys!

Well it’s good to know that we at least have the same knowledge base in this experience Olympics you want to create. With the years of airline knowledge you possess, you have to admit NOTHING is a sure thing…
