The real question is. Should i buy Mesa stock when it tanks on monday before they have a press release of the good news from United?

And to add to this, Scott Kirby already said “NO MORE 50-SEATER Regional Aircraft”. So this, “finalizing a deal” that JO is propagandizing, is a mere way to keep the stock from going down Monday morning and to keep the 2-week notices from flooding HR inboxes.

That is false. Scope is a specific number of hulls over 50 seats, and that number is contractually maxed out. UAX allowable block hours change with the UAL NB block hours, but not allowable hulls. Despite the hundreds of NB aircraft that UAL has being delivered, UAX doesn’t get any more 50+ seat jets. The only way to fly the -900’s for UAX would be to remove another aircraft from the system on a one for one basis.
