You’re right, Most people can see exactly that the problem is they don’t write the checks. So the solution is to pray on new hires to fill right seat that think flying the 737 means something.

No it is not home based. You will be sitting reserve in CVG. Plan on getting a place to stay/crash pad. It was very senior but appears most have upgraded so a chance of a line might not be to far off. Pay rates appear to be coming up to the RJ rates from the scuttlebutt but who knows, would assume
the min guarantee would remain lower. It is pretty much all night flying. Guys have said the training is good, but no inside info on that. Really senior plane. For the most part you can’t touch it without two decades at the company until now.

Don’t get 737 starry eyes🤩🤩🤩. Less pay, flying all night, 2X as long to build time to upgrade, MEM and OMA layovers, enough said. Truly no one cares what you fly other than family members, it’s about the $$$ you take home, and the hours you get so you can move on. Things in this industry can change overnight, literally
The way you make it sound, sounds like choosing the 737 is a very poor choice compared with the crj. Any other inputs? Is it worth moving to?

Thats RIGHT NOW. I expect it to change when we reach an agreement for what the rates should be - or we shut it down.

Bid your BASE. But even that rug can (and probably will) be yanked out from under you at some point.

RIGHT NOW if your goal is to get online fastest: CRJ

Fly the most hours in the shortest time: ERJ

Have the most days off, fly the least: 737

Average line values have the ERJ crews making the most money.

That’s right now.

Thumbs up .

Any pilots currently flying the 737 for Mesa willing to answer a few questions through direct message or email? Recently received a CJO for the CRJ, but I have a some questions about the 737 side with Mesa. Thanks!
