Where did you guys ever get the idea that the MEC has to put an LOA to a vote?

While not required, the MEC chair has not used his prerogative to ever sign a loa without a vote. At least the current MEC chair.

WTF are you talking about. The rate LOA wasn’t sent for a vote.

Well, if you read what I replied to I didn’t refer to any specific LOA. I was simply pointing out that the MEC chair hasn’t used their prerogative to sign any loa without a vote.

That’s just not true. He just signed one. Without a pilot vote.

Yes the little mouse in the corner of the crystal palace is saying the rates will be moving up. But why would you do it. Cutting yourself $1100 a month short at min guarantee or $13,200 a year. Don’t get 737 starry eyes🤩🤩🤩. Less pay, flying all night, 2X as long to build time to upgrade, MEM and OMA layovers, enough said. Truly no one cares what you fly other than family members, it’s about the $$$ you take home, and the hours you get so you can move on. Things in this industry can change overnight, literally

Rates can’t be less monthly than the pax side. Or the operation will die.
