So can anyone explain what is going on? How are new hires getting the 73? Is that in the LOA and just hasn’t been disclosed the pilot group? It seems to me it hasn’t gone jr enough for new hires based on the preliminary bid today. Is this bait and switch on these new hires?

If there’s a new hire class for 737 that violates the loa and if rates are over 58 that also violates the cargo loa. 737 rates have not been addressed.

But that’s the opposite of what I’m talking about. That’s a pilot on property who was able to bid 737 and was then offered it. An opportunity he would not have received if they were putting together new hire 737 classes. Do you see my point?

It appears they are offering the 737 to some new hires, perhaps those with jet experience, don't know. The letter does not state what the pay rates are, but the training starts asap. Perhaps the more senior pilots moved out of it to the passenger fleet or to the other airlines for better pay and better hours. Would think flying all night would get old pretty quickly.
