Going from 14CA to 10. At least from what I can see. Which is pretty much exactly what Mesa runs at as a pilots per plane number. So just sizing the operation. At least that’s what it looks like.

I suppose, but for a while there was all that talk of expansion, so I guess that’s gone by the wayside. What was really weird was who was on the prelim award. Makes me think it’s more voluntary than forced.

Absolutely incorrect sir. The town hall was great. Many improvements headed our way, the AA contract is sound and robust. The United side is still doing amazing. And cargo is looking forward to continued growth. This company couldn’t possibly lose money if they tried. We are under glorious leadership (still, as we have been for over 20 years).

I caught a few things, but was mostly just dumbfounded by how stupid of questions flight attendants can ask. They need to not be able to ask questions anymore.
Aside of that, I caught CRJs are staying for a long time, so those AA EJET rumors were put to bed. Europe still coming. Wasn’t sure exactly what he said about ORD, but it sounded like an ORD base is coming. Indicated that Mesa has to do something to stay competitive pay-wise, but complained a lot about rising costs with no real way to make up for it since Mesa is paid by partners a flat rate, so if we do get a pay raise, I expect it to be minimal. Our AA flying is decreasing overall because we don’t have the capacity to keep up (Side note, we currently have 8-10 CRJs in long term storage in TUS, with more going into storage). Hopefully the union can elaborate more. But the whole town hall was jam packed with really, really dumb questions from flight attendants.
